When I joined Crystal Dynamics, Gex 2—a flagship title—was already in full swing. Thrust into the deep end, I rapidly mastered 3D Studio V4 and the studio’s proprietary game engine to contribute to the project’s vibrant world. My role demanded quick thinking and technical finesse, and the concept sketches featured here reflect my early explorations in shaping Gex 2’s distinctive style and environments.
